My name is Allison Dorsey and I am from Charleston, West Virginia. Aside from being an artist, I am an avid adventurer and am always down to try something new. Coming from a place where there is no spotlight on the creative world, I have learned to focus on the small details and be a go-getter. My artwork is a way for me to express things that have happened in my life or to help others better their creative ideas and collaborate on an amazing story. Not too long ago I left a movie theater flabbergasted by the combination of music and visual elements and asked others about what we just watched. When they didn't see what I saw, I knew the filmmaking/TV industry was what I wanted to go into. For me, it's always been the small details that separate good works from the award-winning ones, and I want to be one of those small moving pieces that have a part in creating something amazing.
I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Visual Art and Design
with a minor in film from Marshall University.
